Hey everyone, you remember how very hot it got here in South-East Australia? And how much we were suffering and sweating through the whole thing. Well, it’s finally over now. And to make things even better for millions of people—the hot, sticky weather is gone! A beautiful, refreshing cool change has arrived! No more wet shirts and no more constantly using fans. Let’s look at this in a more casually way.
Why Does This Cool Change Feel So Good?
The Timing- After days of weather conditions above 40 degrees, the cool front arrived just when we needed it, with temperatures dropping to around 20 degrees to 25 degrees.
Who Loves It? People living in Melbourne, Sydney, And regional areas such as Adelaide (a combined total of millions) are finally able to draw breath. This includes people who live and work within cities, beach visitors, and everything else in between.
How Did It Happen?
A low-pressure system combined with southerly winds to push the hot air away from us just like a built-in air conditioning unit.
What Will You Notice about Everyday Life?
Outdoor activities—as a result of the extreme Heat—will continue, with no need to worry about constantly and painfully looking for your next place to find Shade.
Health benefits- there’ll be excessively less heat stress on us due to the decrease in heat levels.
Economic activity- Farmers are celebrating, because the crops are finally starting to recover, and tourism centres/attractions will be receiving great business, now that people can enjoy themselves without worrying about heat stupefying them.
Animal health- Koalas, kangaroos, etc., will appreciate not having to worry about dehydration anymore.
What Will Happen Next With Our Weather?
Short Term- over the next few days, there should be continuing mild weather conditions (more ideal for partaking in outdoor activities).
